Gilded Age Walking Tour

Please join the Italian Welfare League on a Tour of The Gilded Age Mansions of New York. Our tour offers a fascinating look into the architectural grandeur and the history of the late 19th century, featuring the opulent residences of New York's prominent families of that era. 


Participants will have the opportunity to explore the history behind these iconic structures, learn about the families who built them, their historical secrets and the cultural impact of the era. The tour covers Landmarks and highlights the intricate designs and stories that defined this period of American history.


The tour will conclude with a lunch of assorted panini, desserts, soft drinks and coffee at 'Tarallucci e Vino' to be enjoyed in the garden or terrace of the Cooper Hewitt Museum.

The tour ends at 92nd Street and 5th Ave.
